House with Garden

We are strategically located a few minutes to gorgeous central Portugal beaches. The old and new co exist beautifully in this Portuguese house/unit with a quaint courtyard and a garden. The house is a ground floor of a two story building. It features two bedrooms, the first one at the front of the house facing the cobble stone street, has a fire place, an eating/work table, and the other bedroom, bright but smaller has a Queen size bed, facing a lovely garden. The sweet old/new kitchen comes fully equipped with a dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, utensils, coffee maker, and a hot water kettle. The renovated bathroom adds a modern touch. No TV! Beach & Bike The house locates within minutes drive Praia da Barra, Praia da Vagueira, Costa Nova, bike path or walk path with incredible river views. I can't emphasize enough "slow living"! Also, within walking distances to bakeries, bank, historic town, Vista Alegre where a porcelain factory with it's history and museum, which covers the story of the mark and has many exquisite examples, but also studies Portugal’s affinity for ceramics, both as a practical material and for decoration.

The garden is in the back, with several fruits trees, flowers, hibiscus trees, roses, bay leaf bush, camellia trees, orange trees, plum trees...one would never guess the house has such a special garden looking from the front of the house, since the house seats in the center of a historic small village.

The house is in the center of a small Historic Village with a farm fishing village feel. Located in the historic streets of Ílhavo within walking distance to Vista Alegre. We are walking distance to a bike/walk path with great river view. Aveiro and it's attraction is an Uber drive away. We are close to 3 great beaches, Costa Nova, Praia da Barra and Praia da Vagueira. Aveiro (10 minutes by car) and Porto (55 minutes by train). Ílhavo was a very prominent town in the old days, therefore has intrigued little streets, banks, supermarket and a cultural center.

12 minutes in a car from Praia da Barra and Costa Nova. We are 7 minutes from Aveiro, 50 minutes in a train to Porto... We are strategically located to those who would want to explore central and north Portugal.

We try to be as sustainable as possible.

Regretfully no pets are allowed. Absolutely no smoking in the house or in the garden. You are renting the ground floor of the house. The upper floor is occupied by the owner but each floor has it's own separated entrances. Rentals are highly demanding in Portugal, and we plan our lives way in advance. If you want to rent the property at this moment, it will have to be from end of August on. Thank you
