Family House in Minho Region

Beautiful 4 bedroom, spacious family home in the lush green Minho region near Geres National Park.

The house is fully furnished with a well equipped kitchen. Four double bedrooms with ample storage , one with an en-suite, another bathroom with a bathtub and an extra WC downstairs. Two of the bedrooms have balconies with views over the valley and mountains and up to Galicia in Spain. The kitchen has a washing machine and tumble dryer. The Living and dining room have a wood burning fireplace. Extra electric radiators available for additional heating. A large terrace has a covered traditional barbeque, swimming pool and lovely outdoor dining. The house is on 1600m² of fertile terraced land, with and orchard, vegetable gardens and well established trees. Good WiFi throughout the house. Ther's a off street parking and also a charger for an electric or hybrid car is available.

Located 5 kilometers from the local town of "Terras de Bouro" with a supermarket, banks, post office, bars and restaurants and a monthly market. A bread truck passes every morning.

25 kilometers from beautiful Baroque Braga and 60 kilometers from Porto airport. An hour drive over the Roman road through Geres and you’re in Galicia, Spain in a stunning region famous for its hot thermal Roman springs, spas and a hot river. 6 buses run daily from Braga to Terras de Bouro stopping a few metres from the house.

Set in the lush region of the Minho you are fully immersed in nature with an abundance of marked trails, including one near the house, Lakes, waterfalls, and river beaches. There are endless outdoor activities nearby, horse riding, kayaking paddle-boarding etc. Yoga and Pilates classes are available in Terras de Bouro and there is a thermal spa 4 kilometers from the house offering therapeutic massage and specializeds in treating skin and respiratory ailments. There are stunning walks on Roman roads and picturesque trails to quaint stone villages and water mills. The house has natural spring water plus controlled water from the town hall from the same source. You are welcome to plant your own vege garden and use the garden tools and compost.

Available from 25th September until the end of March. Minimum 5 months. €1,800 euros a month plus a one month refundable deposit in advance. WiFi, electricity, water, gas and firewood are not included. Sorry but no pets. Smoking outside only.
