Private home for holiday lets in the Arganil countryside with stunning views of the mountains. Fully renovated in 2022, offering high ceilings giving light and space. It has a lovely tranquil courtyard as well as a great outdoor patio area with a pool, fully fitted kitchen and lounge, where one can relax and enjoy the sunshine. On the doorstep are many river beaches Central Portugal has to offer.

Lovely large family house which has been fully renovated with wood flooring throughout offering a fresh and bright area. The house consists of 3 bedrooms 3 bathrooms sleeping up to 9 people including children. The main bedroom has a king size bed, single bed and en suite large full bathroom, second bedroom has a king size bed, single bed and third bedroom has a double and one or two single beds, there is a separate bath/shower room upstairs and a shower room downstairs. From the landing a door leads out onto the balcony with a view of Maladão and the mountains in the distance. Downstairs is a large living room with wood burner including central heating, TV and fibre optics internet throughout the property. Along the passage is the kitchen and dining room with double doors out to the patio. The kitchen has a gas cooker, fridge, microwave, dish washer, kettle and toaster. A gate from the courtyard leads out to the large extended patio where to the left is a lounge area and the right is the outdoor fully kitted kitchen with a large dining table overlooking the pool. New railings have been fitted around the patio area offering safety around the pool and garden. There are steps down onto the lawn where children can enjoy the outdoors. The extended patio leads around the side of the house to an outdoor where access through the double doors to the dining room. This tranquil area will be suitable for sunbathers and sundowners. Guests have full exclusive access to the whole house, courtyard, patio areas, swimming-pool and garden.

The River Alva runs nearby and offers great walks/hiking/cycling. There are a number of river beaches within driving distance including Sarzedo river beach, less than 2 kms, there is also a council built outdoor swimming pool at Folques, Secarias, only 6 kms, and Coja, 15 kms. The village of Maladao has a small bar/cafe within walking distance. The town of Arganil is only a short 4 km drive where one can find a variety of stores, supermarkets, a weekly farmers market, bars and restaurants.

The historic City of Coimbra is a 40 minute drive away. The university is one of the oldest in Europe and has a very beautiful library that is open for visits from the public. Portugal dos Pequenitos is fun for children and adults alike with miniature houses depicting different types of housing from all over Portugal. Figueira de Foz is less than an hours drive where you have the choice of the larger sandy beach. In the winter months the Serra de Estrela has snow on its peaks offering skiing or just for a visit for the magnificent views, approx. 60 kms to the start of the uphill drive.

Sheets, bedding and towels are included in the price. No pets allowed, minimum stay 5 days. Daily prices: Spring: €180 Summer: €250 Autumn: €180 Cleaning fees of €30 are added to the total stay price. A deposit of 20% is required on confirmation of a booking that will be returned if cancelled at least 30 days before arrival after which it is non refundable. Check in time is 4:00pm to 10pm.
