1 bedroom with double bed, 1 bathroom, 1 spaceful living kitchen fully equipped, with wood burner for heating, standard insulation, outdoor terraces with nice sunshine exposure, BBQ, garden with river view. You have the perfect spot for relaxing, at the edge of a traditional village in Central Portugal, good car access with private parking place, TV, Internet & Music. Standard facilities, very good and solid internet for homeoffice, with the privilege to work also outdoor, with a beautiful view to the Mondego River. The valley invites you for walks along the river with all its wild life. Day trips for hiking and other nature adventure you find near by in the Serra da Estrela (30 min drive). In the summer months, we have 2 horses in the fields near the guesthouses, the open stable is in 50m distance.

You can hang out at the private picnic area at the river beach, walk along the riverpath - a niche along the Rio Mondego with an unique landscape, quiet and in full contact with nature. Ideal location for a stay in pure and quiet nature, no neighbours, perfect sun exposition also in the winter months and good access and infrastructure, if you are searching for your own property in Central Portugal. Vegetation and wildlife (turtles, otters, river herons, colorful bird life, etc) are waiting for you to be seen or to take picture, if you are quiet enough and bring just a bit of patience. Perfect spot for painting or reading, or to listen to the sound of nature. In 2km distance you are at the Terms/SPA in Caldas da Felgueira with Coffee/Bars and Restaurant. At the river beach (100m) you have a private picnic area. Swimming April till October possible. You can walk for kilometres along the flat and beautiful river path. In 5 minutes by car you are in Caldas da Felgueira with the next coffee/bar or restaurant, all shoppings and pharmacy in 7km distance, Nelas (also train/bus station). Horse Facilities near by - outdoorstable and pasture for 1-4 horses available for equestrian rental (extra costs: price 1 horse 100€/month self-livery, every extra horse 70€/month)

In 30 minutes you reach the beautiful historical town Viseu with all kind of nice restaurants, bars and shops, or you go to the Wine Metropole Nelas only 7km from your holiday home for a special meal or your daily shopping.

From April to November 2026, with prolongation option Basic Price: 480€ per month for 2 person (incl. 1 cleaning per month) Extra Costs: average 80€ per month for 1-2 persons: TV/internet fix 20€, water fix 25€, Electricity and Gas depending on your consumption as well as fire wood 65€/qqm. Deposit: 1 month rent, 480€, refunded in the month after your departure - including the final balance of extra costs and possible renovation costs or replacement of any damaged furniture - as agreed with you before leaving. Cancelation: If you have to leave for any personel reason before our longterm agreement ends, please let us know 3 months in advance, that we have time to find replacement for decent tenants for our guesthouse.
