Private Quinta with Garden

The quinta was lovingly restored in 2005 to create a beautiful home from home, in a peaceful setting. Enjoy private use of the 2 bedroom farmhouse, with its open log fire, views over the farm from the veranda, glorious pool and well manicured gardens. It is a great space for a relaxing getaway, ideal for couples and small families. Our child friendly rural retreat has plenty of room to roam, relax and play! Just a few minutes drive from Tábua town you can access shops, restaurants and facilities with ease. Guests have access to unlimited Wifi We are a pet friendly farm and welcome well behaved pets. The farm is fully fenced and we also have a facility in the gardens where pets can be secured with a feeding and water station should you wish to use this.

Beautiful farm in the countryside, situated near the Mondego River, just outside of Tábua, and 60 minutes from the Serra da Estrela mountain range. Well manicured gardens and a stunning private pool. A small Ribiera, (stream), runs through the farm. The nearest Town is Tábua, 4 km away (where you will find everything you need, including a pharmacy, health care and supermarket).

Plenty of countryside to explore - a few kilometers from the market town of Tabua you have all facilities close by. Plenty of land and waterbased activities close by and we can help you to explore like a local if you are unfamiliar with the area. In addition to the pool there are plenty of rivers and lakes and riverbeaches to explore close by. We are accessible throughout your stay and happy to assist you with any information or recommendations as required. When you are not relaxing at the Quinta, take advantage of the excellent location and get ready for exploring nearby river beaches and interesting days out to places of interest including the village of Piódão, Fraga da Pena, Mata da Margaraça, Coimbra, Viseu, and many other places of cultural and historical relevance.

This is a family run quinta where you can enjoy the private use of the entire property and gardens. The pool and gardens are outstanding. Inside you will find a traditional and cosy farmhouse with a lovely open fire for chilly evenings! Owners Lurdes and Nuno live a short drive away and the gardens and pool are always well maintained and pristine. During the cold winter months - the unheated pool is covered and closed. This is an extensive property which is completely fenced and home to a small herd of sheep and a couple of (fenced off) free ranging pigs. Visitors are welcome to bring well behaved pets to stay - as the sheep and pigs are separately contained from the gardens .

We charge €80 per night and have a one off cleaning fee of 35 euros for each stay. This includes electricity, water, wifi, bedding, towels etc. Well behaved pets are welcomed at the Quinta!
