A sublime house of 110 m² for a maximum of 8 people, two bedrooms and a parental suite. fitted kitchen, spacious living / dining room. The house has 3 bedrooms, three different ambience: - A parental bedroom with private bathroom - 1 bedroom with 1 double bed + a sleeping area under the roof. - 1 bedroom with 2 single beds + a sleeping area under the roof. The house has a living room with 40 m² with a dining room, a living room and an equipped kitchen. The perfect place to rest after a good day in the Mondego river, it is also a very friendly space. - A living room accompanied by a stove. - A dining room with table for 10 people. - A fully equipped kitchen with serving hatch on the terrace. With combined refrigerator, delta espresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, microwave, oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, various spices. - You will also find books, games companies, radio, hanger, towels, linens, hair dryer, wood stove, barbecue utensils, mosquito nets. - There is no air conditioning, dishwasher, television. ​ With optional maid service. La Quinta da Mondega is located in a 3 hectare valley bordering the Mondego River, which is the longest river in Portugal over 234 km, it originates in the Serra da Estrela near Gouveia at an altitude of 1360m. ​The Quinta gives you access to a private beach of fine sand, the land has several levels with fruit trees, waterfall, stream, oak forest, cork, fir, mimosa. We are in an ecological zone, accessible only by a dirt road of 700 meters. You will have the opportunity to practice various activities nearby such as horse riding, hiking, walking, fishing, kayaking, swimming. We will suggest you some restaurants in the surroundings to discover Portuguese cuisine. The village of Póvoa de Midões is located just 1,300 m from the Quinta. There you will find bars, cafes and a small shop that offers the essentials for your stay.

You will stay 57km from Viseu and 72km from Coimbra. Quinta da Mondega is a rural accommodation located 60 km from Serra da Estrela, the highest mountain in Portugal and 170 km from Porto International Airport. (which is the closest.)

We are a Franco-Portuguese couple with a company in the building in France for 18 years. At the beginning of 2020, we decided to leave everything and fulfil our dream of going to live and work in Portugal, when we fell in love with this Quinta on the banks of the Mondego river, abandoned on 3 hectares, after 5 years of cleaning, restoration of the stone house, orchard plantation, maintenance of various wild places. this place of green nature and the magnificent landscapes which abound in this region of the country. Whether it is the reception on your arrival, the various services during your stay, information on what to do in the area, ... we will be there to support you. Animals are allowed in the rental.
