One bedroom annex to rent with private courtyard in rural Silver Coast village close to Caldas da Rainha.

One bedroom duplex annex within the grounds of our main house. It has private courtyard as shown and small balcony. The annex is an old rustic building which has been fully renovated. The inside living space is 50m2 in total over 2 floors. On the ground floor, an open plan area 25m2 with living room, dining area and open plan fully fitted kitchen including large fridge freezer, electric hob, integrated dishwasher, oven and integrated microwave. The kitchen is supplied with everything you need. It is fully furnished as per photographs. Upstairs there is a large bedroom with super king sized bed. There is a wall mounted TV downstairs and also in the bedroom, you are able to watch Netflix and other internet streaming. There is one en-suite bathroom with shower, sink and toilet accessed through the bedroom upstairs. The windows and doors are double glazed and the door to the balcony from the bedroom opens on to a small balcony. There is a log burning stove downstairs with a flue that goes through upstairs and heats the annex well in the winter months. Guests to supply own firewood. The annex is set within the grounds of the separate main property which is only occasionally occupied by the owners. It has its own private courtyard with seating and BBQ area. There is a separate entrance for the main house to use if it is occupied to maintain privacy. Access to a washing machine. There is secured parking for a car on the gravel driveway with electric remote control driveway gate with a remote key fob to access the driveway.

The annex is located in a rural village approximately 15 minutes drive from the centre of the beautiful town of Caldas da Rainha. There is a local grocery shop which sells most things and a local bar less than a minute walk from the property. More local amenities including public swimming pool, bank, pharmacy, school, grocery shops, cafes are a few minutes drive away at the local village Santa Catarina. Large supermarkets, shops, restaurants and bars 10 mins drive away at Benedita.

The beautiful beach resort of São Martinho do Porto is a 20 minute drive. Nazaré and Alcobaça are also approximately 20 mins drive. The beautiful beach resort Foz do Arelho is a 25-30 minute drive. Caldas da Rainha centre is 15 minutes away by car. Peniche is 40 mins drive. 20 minutes drive to the historic walled medieval town of Óbidos. You have the benefit of experiencing authentic rural Portuguese village life but at the same time being in easy access to the heart of the Silver Coast and its beautiful towns and beaches. 1 hr 10 minutes to Lisbon airport by car. There are local buses from the property but they are not that regular so a car is recommended. There are very regular and reliable buses from Caldas da Rainha centre linking you all round Portugal and beyond. It is also possible to access Uber to and from Caldas Da Rainha and beyond from the annex.

Rent between 1-6 months with possibility of extending the period further if required. But it's not available for permanent yearly lease. May-October is €1,100 per month inclusive of all bills (€36 per night) November-April €780 per month inclusive of all bills (€26 per night) Minimum is stay 30 days. Unlimited high speed Fibre broadband, water and electricity are all included in the rental price. Guests to provide their own firewood. Small pets considered by prior agreement.
