At Agro-turismo Quinta da Fonte, you will find a small piece of paradise with a lovely cottage, a tiny house made with natural materials, a romantic caravan, guest rooms and fully equipped rental tents. You can also camp with your own tent.

We have been living on our piece of paradise for 12 years and in those years we renovated the old farmhouse into lovely guest rooms, spotless bathrooms and we have created a cosy bar. We have a restaurant on the spot where we make delicious meals on reservation. You can choose for accommodation in the colorful cottage, a tiny house made with natural materials like clay, sand, straw, wood, lime, guest rooms in the old farmhouse, fully equipped rental tents with comfortable beds and a small outdoor kitchen or a romantic caravan with small kitchen and terrace with lovely views.

We are amidst nature! We live in a isolated valley, but only 10 minutes by car from the town Figueiró dos Vinhos where you will find supermarkets, banks, market, health center, dentist, fire brigade and much more. If you want to see how life on the countryside in Portugal is, this is the place for you. Also if you want to see what can be done in restructuring and building, you could see it all here! There is a small waterfall at 20 minutes by foot from the terrain, there is a small creek with hammocks and lounge beds and a river to swim at 4 kilometres from the spot. In the area there are a lot of natural swimming pools to visit as well as the cities Coimbra and Tomar at about an hour by car.

Figueiró dos Vinhos has a museum and lots of small cafés for a drink or icecream. Coimbra and Tomar are worth a visit. This is the place to be for hiking and you can hire a canoa at the river.

This place offers superb meals and a great hospitality as well as nature, peace and quiet. Stars can be spotted in the night, because there is little light pollution! We are living environmental friendly and built a tiny house with natural materials and old building techniques. We organize workshops like soap making, natural building and cooking.
