Traditional ground floor house with a total of 3 bedrooms. One suite and two spacious bedrooms with common bathroom. kitchen and a fantastic dining/living room. Fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a microwave, a washing machine, a refrigerator and an oven. Equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, Wi-Fi and a LCD TV. The home features a terrace and barbecue facilities where you can relax in the garden, by the outdoor pool or in the shared lounge area. The house is pet-friendly. Free WiFi and private parking available.

Our rural house is located in Arronches, Alentejo region. It's a lovely small village situated in the vast Alentejo region, nearby the border with Spain, characterised by its small white houses with coloured bands around windows and doors. Monte dos Pintos is situated in Central Alentejo, not far from the Spanish border. Watching the sun rise amongst the mountains of the Alentejo whilst being lifted into the air in a wicker basket is an unforgettable experience. The views become more impressive, the air fresher and the atmosphere calmer.

Central Alentejo has some of the most breathtaking landscapes of Portugal. Portalegre, Marvão, Castelo de Vide, Elvas, Estremoz, Évora and even Spain, can be visited between 15min and 45min away, and for those who love peace and nature in a mountain environment, these are the best places to visit. In this historic area you can discover a rural beauty and a rhythm of life differing from the rest of Europe. Portugal is famous for its wine, shooting, horse-riding, and stunning scenery in the countryside. Monte dos Pintos is situated near the Natural Park of Serra de São Mamede which offers many signposted walking itineraries. Horse riding, shooting, trekking, bird watching, wine tasting, special guided tours and other activities can be organised for our guests. Short rides in hot water balloons in Portugal began in the Alentejo: it is an ideal region for this due to the vast plains that are suitable for take off and landing. Elvas is at 46 km, Portalegre is 22 km, while Monforte is 24 km away.
