House in Alentejo Farm

A slice of paradise in the heart of Alentejo, only 75km from Lisbon, between charming historical towns of Alcacer do Sal and Montemor O Novo, and just 40 minutes from Comporta and the gorgeous Atlantic beachesbeaches! Set on a stunning regenerative farm, this one-bedroom haven (sleeps 4-5) invites you to relax and lose yourself in nature’s magic—ideal for short getaways or extended stays.

This is a rural property with several buildings, currently being restored through holistic and regenerative practices. This self-catering, independent one-bedroom unit consists of a large bedroom, a living room, a full bathroom with a bidet, tub and shower, and hot water. There is a queen bed, 3 single beds, a functional kitchen (fridge and 2-burner stove), dedicated workspace, wifi, parking, a private outdoor seating area, as well as access to a garden. Amenities: - Fridge/Freezer - Coffee maker - Hot water kettle - Cooking basics - Pots and pans, oil, salt and pepper - Dishes and silverware, Wine glasses - Bowls, chopsticks, plates, cups, etc. - Extra pillows and blankets - Bed linens - Cleaning products - Clothing storage - Hangers - Hot water - Mosquito net - Dedicated workspace - Portable fans - Private living room - Toaster - Wifi Available - Private entrance - Free parking on premises - Outdoor seating/dining area - Outdoor furniture - Patio or balcony - Backyard - An open space on the property usually covered in grass - Shared outdoor bbq - Shared Pool (in renovation) Hosts live on the property but in a separate building. They come from an international arts and culture background and have delved into regenerative, holistic, and permaculture practices to revive this farm. Interactions are welcome! This is an ideal place for couples and friends with a green/creative streak who want to explore this beautiful region. It sleeps for people, so groups of 4 can stay for shorter periods but for longer durations, it is more suitable for two people. No pets. There are often 1-2 international volunteers on the premises to help with different ongoing projects. They stay in a separate building. Wifi & utilities are extra and will be calculated based on the number of people and duration of stay. Breakfast, lunch and dinner with farm-fresh ingredients is available upon request.

This place is nestled between the enchanting town of Alcácer do Sal and the progressive town of Montemor-o-Novo, 20 minutes away from each. Only 75 minutes from Lisbon and 40 minutes from expansive Atlantic beaches. Historical and whimsical Evora and Setubal are both only 40 minutes away, and of course Spain is always an option! An optimal location overall!

This is a green, eco-conscious project. We strive to eliminate plastic usage altogether and closely monitor our water/electricity usage as well as what goes on and into the land and our recovering water system. Guests are expected to respect these practices. As such, guests are responsible for collecting and disposing of their single-use plastic items and following our compost/garbage separation guidelines for other wastes. Only 100 percent natural, biodegradable, and ocean-safe personal care, hygiene, and sun care products are allowed to be used on the premises. Natural soap, dishwashing liquid, and cleaning products are already provided free of charge. For other items, if you do not have any, we can provide them at an additional cost. Once neglected, this beautiful place is now lovingly restored into a natural oasis for creative minds. Using a blend of ancient holistic practices, permaculture, regenerative design, and natural materials, we’re not just "greening" the land—we’re cultivating a thriving source of healthy, homegrown food for ourselves and our guests. We are water-independent and committed to maintaining a delicate balance with nature. Conscious of our power use, we encourage unplugging and slowing down as we transition fully off-grid.

Sleeps 3-4 People No pets allowed. We have a dog in training and chickens on the premises. Cleaning is included for nightly and weekly stays. A cleaning fee of 30 euros as well as a deposit will be requested for monthly stays. Monthly: November-April €770 May-October: €1,100 Longer stays are allowed up to 6 months.
